how to stop configuration wizard task

When you run a configuration wizard task in NWA, probably you would get some error and the wizard task got pending which stop you from re-executing it. The following procedure will help to kill the pending task and allow to re-execute the wizard task.

If CTC configuration task is pending and the Start, Reexecute and Resume buttons of the
configuration wizard are inactive, you should proceed as follows:
1. Make sure that you have closed the session of the pending configuration task and all other
configuration task have been stopped.

2. Restart the application Start up application of CTC framework with a technical name
sap.com/tc~lm~ctc~cul~startup_app following the procedure bellow. All configuration
tasks which are in state Currently executing become in state Cancelled.
a) Log on to the SAP NetWeaver Administrator using the following URL:

http://<AS_Java_hostname>:<AS_Java_HTTP_port>/nwa

b) Choose Systems Start & Stop .
c) Choose Java EE Applications.
d) Enter cul in the relevant field of the filter Name and choose Return.
e) Select the application tc~lm~ctc~cul~startup_app.
f) Choose Stop On All Instances in Application Details and then choose Refresh.
g) After the application is stopped, choose Start On All Instances in Application Details .

go to configuration wizard again, you will find the previous pending  task marked with status “Cancelled”. You can re-execute the task now.
